Did Anyone Miss Me?
Yes, it’s me. It’s really been a long time since I’ve posted anything on here, and I am so ashamed of myself! Ok, not really, but it sounded good, right? Honestly, I just haven’t felt like I had much to say for a while. Yes, I’ve been busy, too, but the real reason is that it all started sounding like the same old ranting, over and over. I mean, how many times can you write about how stupid George W. is, or how much he and his buddies lie? It gets to a point where you just can’t face pointing out another faux pas by these jerks.
I still don’t have a lot to say, I guess, but I have missed coming here and spilling my guts of all the things that bug the heck out of me. It really is cathartic, but then, you all know that already, don’t you? Otherwise, why would you be writing down your deepest thoughts and feelings online, too? There’s just something about letting the world know what you’re thinking and why, and I really have missed that.
Having said that, however, I still don’t have anything to talk about. It’s all just the same, day after day. I’m hoping that will change in November and there will be good news to share with everyone, but we’ll have to wait until then to see if that happens.
I just wanted to check in and say “Hi”, let you know I haven’t forgotten about you, and I’m still here, shaking my head in dismay or pounding my fist on the arm of my chair in utter disgust at what’s happening in the world. I just haven’t been able to come up with new and exciting ways to express that to you, and I really hate getting stale.
I guess that’s all I have to say for now. Bush is still a dope, Rumsfeld needs to get lost, and Cheney…..well, I’m not sure what to say about him, since he has a shotgun and claims to know how to use it. I think there’s an old friend of his who might differ with him on that, but I’m not taking any chances. Rove needs his tongue cut out, Schwartzenegger needs to stay in Sacramento and stop coming to Fresno every two weeks. He might actually be able to get something done if he does. Oh yeah, and Fox needs to stop trying to pretend they’re fair and impartial. That’s about it for now, I guess , but I will be back before long. Something is bound to change sooner or later, don’t you think?
